Model FNB, Flexible Noise Barriers, are limp, tough, high mass, sound proofing vinyl loaded with lead-free fillers to increase performance. They resist the passage of sound waves and reduce noise transmission.

The sound proofing barrier material is available in 0.50 and 1.00 pound per SQ/FT densities with acoustical STC ratings of 21 and 27 respectively.  Higher STC levels can be  achieved by layering the material.

Standard configurations include non-reinforced, reinforced and clearview.  Non-reinforced barriers are suitable for non-abusive applications requiring low tensile strength.  For more rugged applications, a reinforced  barrier offers greater durability and tensile strength.  Clearview barriers are tough water-clear material used where visual access must be maintained. FNB materials are available in roll form, cut lengths and custom die cut parts.
